Kids today need more repetition. We all know it. Research shows that repetition strengthens neural connections, reduces cognitive load, and significantly increases the retention curve. Yet many Swedish teachers report they don't have time for adequate repetition and practice in the classroom. We aim to bridge that gap with short and engaging texts, already accessible to students.
Kids today need less assessment pressure. Providing Swedish teachers and students with engaging, short texts that spark their reading interest might just make them want to complete the work. The goal is simply to practice — answer collection ensures students complete the work, but it's not about evaluating their skills.
Everybody gains from accessibility. Learning new vocabulary can be challenging, so we've added emojis to each word to aid understanding. Reading can be tough, so every student can use the built-in listening tool and reading ruler. These are tools all students should have at the ready, so we've worked hard to make this platform easy to handle for both students and teachers.
Simple but effective tools: Easily print vocabulary lists from each text. Adjust font size and switch to dyslexia-friendly fonts. Submit work via email, Microsoft Teams, or copy to clipboard, and put the answers wherever the teacher wants. Want to repeat the assignments? Just refresh the page!
